1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SurgicalTechPrep.com ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

SurgicalTechPrep.com provides study materials - flashcards, mini exams, and full-length practice exams - for candidates preparing for the NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam. All content is original and independently developed. SurgicalTechPrep.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NBSTSA, AST, or any official certification body in any way.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Free Plan: Access to a limited number of flashcards and sample mini exams at no charge.

Full Access Plan ($29.99/month): Monthly subscription that renews automatically. You may cancel at any time via the Billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Lifetime Access Plan ($199 one-time): A single payment grants indefinite access to all current and future content. Lifetime access is locked to one device. If you need to change devices, contact support@certinhq.com.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Monthly subscribers may cancel anytime; refunds are available within 7 days of a charge.
  • Lifetime purchasers may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase; after that, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on SurgicalTechPrep.com - including questions, explanations, flashcards, and platform code - is owned by SurgicalTechPrep.com and protected by copyright. You may use the Service for personal study only. You may not copy, share, reproduce, publish, or resell any content without our written permission.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Sharing your login credentials with others
  • Scraping, downloading, or bulk-exporting content
  • Using the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization
  • Attempting to circumvent access controls or subscription restrictions
  • Impersonating another user or providing false information

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination without refund.

8. No Guarantee of Exam Results

SurgicalTechPrep.com is a study tool. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in passing the CST exam. Exam difficulty and pass/fail outcomes are entirely at NBSTSA's discretion.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from inaccuracies. While we strive for accuracy, all clinical content should be verified against current AST Standards of Practice, AORN Guidelines, and applicable NBSTSA content outlines.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SurgicalTechPrep.com's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
